Job summary

Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd in Trowbridge is seeking an LGV Driver to join our branch team. You will deliver building materials to customers, ensuring on-time, in-full service with a friendly, professional approach on every run.

You’ll load and unload, perform daily vehicle checks, follow transport and safety regulations, and help colleagues in-store and on-site. A strong focus on customer service and safe driving is essential.

Qualifications

• Full Class C UK Driving Licence and DQC required.
• Strong focus on customer service and safety.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries ensuring on-time, high-quality service.

Job description

We’re now looking for a LGV Driver to join our team in Trowbridge, someone who takes pride in delivering excellent service and being the friendly face of Bradfords on the road.

As an LGV Driver, you’ll play a key role in the branch, delivering building materials to our customers safely and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for making sure deliveries are completed on time and in full, whilst always providing a professional and courteous service.

This is more than just a driving role, you’ll also be part of the wider branch team, supporting colleagues and helping ensure everything runs smoothly.

In this role, you will be

• Completing multi-drop deliveries and ensuring customers receive a reliable, high-quality service
• Loading and unloading your vehicle safely, carrying out daily checks, and following all transport and safety regulations
• Supporting customers both on-site and in the branch when needed
• Promoting products, identifying sales opportunities, and feeding back customer insights to the team

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, customer-focused, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team and who has:

• A full Class C UK Driving Licence and valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
• A strong focus on customer service and safety
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to stay organised in a busy environment
