Job summary

STEF Langdons in Peterborough seeks an experienced LGV Driver for a full-time, permanent role. You will make deliveries and collections across the UK, ensuring on-time, safe loading and paperwork completion.

Responsibilities include vehicle checks, temperature monitoring, loading/unloading, and maintaining professional customer interactions. Candidates should hold an LGV Cat C+E licence, CPC and Tachograph Card, with strong safety and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Cat C+E licence and CPC/Tachograph cards required.
• Knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations.
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive deliveries and collections across the UK, visiting various customers and locations.
• Carry out vehicle checks, loading/unloading and temperature monitoring.
• Ensure delivery paperwork is accurate and complete and maintain professional customer relations.

What We Do

STEF Langdons delivers chilled and frozen food to almost any location across the UK and Ireland within 24 hours, supported by 12 depots and a fleet of over 500 vehicles.

The Role

As an LGV Driver, you’ll play an important role in keeping our operation moving. You’ll make deliveries and collections, visiting different customers and locations throughout your day. You’ll be responsible for driving safely, completing vehicle checks, loading and unloading, carrying out temperature checks and ensuring delivery paperwork is accurate and complete. You’ll need to be organised, flexible and comfortable working independently, while representing STEF Langdons professionally and being part of a wider team

What You’ll Need

• Valid LGV Cat C+E licence
• In-date Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of driver, food safety, and health & safety regulations
• Good communication, organisation and time-management skills
• A flexible, reliable approach and a commitment to safe working

Available Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday Days
• Monday to Friday Twilight
• Tuesday to Saturday Nights
