The Job

1. Operate LGV vehicles for the safe, effective, and legal delivery and collection of animal feed products to meet customer orders and production needs.
2. Deliver feed efficiently to generate revenue and ensure fleet profitability.
3. Provide outstanding customer service, promote the company brand, and identify and resolve customer needs.
4. Ensure vehicle operation complies with the Operator's Licence and remains legally compliant.
5. Work safely, prioritizing health and safety for yourself, colleagues, and the public.
6. Complete daily tasks timely, with flexibility to support fleet efficiency.
7. Review and improve driving style and performance to support fuel efficiency standards.
8. Proactively report and address quality, service, environmental, and safety concerns.
9. Follow company policies and procedures related to Safety, Health, and Environment.
10. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice, including UFAS, FIAS, and NOPS schemes.

Skills, Experience, and Qualities Required

1. LGV Licence (Essential), ideally Class 1 (Desirable).
2. Driver CPC (Essential).
3. Experience in Animal Feed/Agriculture (Desirable).
4. Flexible approach to work, including bulk feed deliveries when needed.
5. Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
6. Ability to work independently and use initiative.
