Job Opportunity: HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) in Carlisle

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known, industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join our team.

Details:

• Hours: Shifts from Monday to Sunday, starting between 02:00am and 06:00am
• Location: Carlisle, CA6
• Job Type: Ongoing, full-time

Responsibilities:

• Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance
• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units
• Handling deliveries and returns from addresses
• Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork
• Assisting with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck
• Interacting with customers and representing the company professionally and courteously

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C)
• Valid and current DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 points on your licence (minor offences only)
• Understanding of WTD legislation
• Willingness to undertake a short driving assessment
