Job summary

Booker Group plc is seeking LGV drivers for its Best Food Logistics network based in Banbury. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, manual handling, and providing excellent customer service as the face of the business.

You will operate a flexible schedule, with 48-hour weeks including Saturdays and potential overtime. The position requires a current LGV Class 2 licence and a valid CPC. Join a team that values safety, efficiency, and team spirit.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LGV Class 2 driving licence and a valid CPC card.
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries and ensuring on-time, intact deliveries.
• Ability to handle manual handling tasks safely and within HSE guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on schedule, in full and in good condition.
• Complete delivery documentation, credits and collections.
• Adhere to Driving Legislation and Working Time Regulations.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures for self and others.
• Ensure food safety and Chill Chain standards are maintained.
• Maintain LGV vehicle with safety checks and defect reporting.
• Collect empty equipment and assist with shift handovers as required.
