Job summary

Booker Group plc in Taunton seeks an LGV Class 2 driver for our Best Food Logistics delivery network. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, complete delivery notes and adhere to Driving Legislation and Health & Safety rules.

We offer a 48-hour week, potential overtime, and a range of staff benefits including discounts, pension contributions and healthcare resources. Applications from newly qualified drivers are welcome.

Qualifications

Current LGV Class 2 driving licence and valid CPC card.
Applications from newly qualified Drivers welcome.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to customers on time and in full as per the delivery schedule.
Complete documentation such as delivery notes, credits and collections.
Adhere to Driving Legislation and Working Time Regulations.
Follow Health and Safety procedures and be responsible for your own and others’ health and safety.
Ensure LGV is maintained and safe including safety checks and defect book.
Collect all empty equipment from customers.
Cooperate with the driver debrief procedure and undertake any other duties as directed by the Shift Management team.
