Job summary

Best Food Logistics is seeking a dedicated LGV Class 2 driver to join our UK delivery network. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, maintain required paperwork and ensure compliance with health, safety and food safety standards.

The role involves manual handling and driving to various outlets with a 48-hour week, potential overtime, and shift patterns that include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must hold an LGV Class 2 driving licence and a valid CPC card.
• Applicants newly qualified welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on time and in full per the schedule.
• Complete delivery notes, credits and collections documentation.
• Adhere to Driving Legislation and Working Time Regulations.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures for self and others.
• Ensure Food safety and Chill Chain standards are maintained.
• Maintain LGV and perform safety checks; log defects.
• Collect empty equipment from customers and assist the Shift Management.
