Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV Driver for PM shift. The role runs Monday to Friday, with start/finish times from 15.00 to 00.30, outdoors and in a single-person crew, collecting and emptying bins for trade waste customers.

You’ll work with initiative to make a difference in local environments. The position requires a valid LGV/HGV Class 2 licence and Driver CPC, plus strong safety awareness and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence is required.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card is required.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders for waste collection.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure safe operation of large rigid vehicles and adherence to drivers' hours rules.
