Job summary

Yusen Logistics is recruiting an LGV Class 2 Driver to operate from our Erith site (DA18 4AF). You will deliver palletised products to retail outlets across the Southeast of England, following a pre-planned schedule and upholding safety procedures.

You’ll load, secure, and unload with site FLT support, perform vehicle checks, maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate clearly with clients and depots. Competitive benefits and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• A full, valid LGV Class 2 licence.
• At least 12 months' commercial LGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Experience delivering electrical items.
• A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR or DG codes).
• A valid DCPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer-focused with a 'can do' attitude.
• Team-oriented and able to work in a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Flexible approach with variable start times.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking to recruit an LGV Class 2 Driver to work out of our Erith Site (DA18 4AF). You will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of palletised products to retail outlets across the Southeast of England.

Working to a pre-planned schedule, you will ensure that products are delivered on time to customer premises and that all safety procedures are followed.

You’ll operate the vehicle curtains so the pallets can be safely taken off by FLT Drivers at site. You will ensure that all products are secured using internal and ratchet straps, deliver products to customers safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the products are loaded correctly and correct use of straps to ensure they are secure
• Perform vehicle inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards
• Manage all documentation for each delivery accurately
• Communicate effectively with clients and depots as needed

Qualifications
