Job summary

Yusen Logistics is recruiting an LGV Class 2 Driver for the Erith site (DA18 4AF). You will deliver palletised products across the Southeast of England, operating to a pre-planned schedule and following safety procedures.

You’ll manage load straps and secure goods, ensuring accurate delivery documentation and clear client communication. The role requires a valid LGV Class 2 licence, DCPC and Tachograph card, plus robust driving experience and a customer-focused, flexible approach.

Qualifications

• Full, valid LGV Class 2 licence.
• At least 12 months' commercial LGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Experience of delivering electrical items.
• Max six points on licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR or DG).
• Valid DCPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Load correctly and ensure straps secure for palletised goods.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain safety standards.
• Manage all delivery documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with clients and depots as needed.

You will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of palletised products to retail outlets across the Southeast of England,Working to a pre-planned schedule, you will ensure that products are delivered on time to customer premises and that all safety procedures are followed.You’ll operate the vehicle curtains so the pallets can be safely taken off by FLT Drivers at site.
