Job summary

Booker Group in Banbury is seeking an experienced LGV driver to join the transport team. You will deliver between depots, ensuring on-time, first-class service and full compliance with driving and safety regulations.

The role requires a current LGV Class 1 licence, a willingness to work 40 hours a week from Monday to Friday including public holidays, and a commitment to food safety and correct paperwork such as trunk manifests.

Qualifications

• Hold a current LGV Class 1 driving licence.
• Applications from newly qualified Drivers welcome.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements and procedures.
• Comply with food safety and chill chain standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-time and first-class delivery service between depots.
• Complete safety checks and legible paperwork (defect book, trunk manifest).
• Co-operate with driver debrief procedure and undertake duties such as multi-drop deliveries, yard duties, or shunting.
