Job summary

Booker is the UK's leading food & drink wholesaler, delivering to independent retailers and foodservice across the country. As an LGV Driver you will perform multi-drop deliveries, keep documentation up to date, and ensure compliance with health, safety and food safety standards.

You will work 48 hours per week over 4 days, with potential overtime and weekend work. You’ll be the face of our organisation, upholding a positive impression with every delivery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LGV Class 2 licence and CPC card.
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries across the UK preferred.
• Able to perform manual handling safely.
• Committed to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on time and in full as per the delivery schedule.
• Complete delivery notes, credits and collections documentation.
• Adhere to driving legislation and working time regulations.
• Follow health and safety procedures and take responsibility for your own and others’ safety.
• Comply with food safety legislation and chill chain standards.
• Ensure LGV truck is maintained and conduct safety checks and defect book.
• Collect all empty equipment from customers.
• Cooperate with driver debrief and undertake other duties as directed by Shift Management.
