Job summary

Booker is seeking LGV Drivers to join our UK-wide, flexible multi-temp delivery network. This role involves manual handling and multi-drop deliveries to various outlets across the country, going beyond a traditional driving job.

You will work around 48 hours per week, with potential overtime and may include Saturdays and public holidays. A current LGV Class 2 licence and CPC card are essential, and applicants with new qualifications are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must hold LGV Class 2 driving licence and a valid CPC card.
• Applications from newly qualified drivers welcome.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries and driving to multiple outlets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on time and in full according to delivery schedule.
• Complete delivery documentation such as notes, credits, and collections.
• Adhere to Driving Legislation and Working Time Regulations.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures and be responsible for your own and others’ safety.
• Ensure Food safety and Chill Chain standards are met.
• Maintain LGV and perform safety checks and defect book completions.
• Collect empty equipment from customers and support shift operations.
