Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking an experienced LGV Driver to collect and deliver liquid digestate to land banks and storage locations across the United Kingdom. The role includes night outs, potential overtime, and a company benefits package.

You will ensure compliance with EU drivers hours, maintain accurate movement records, and complete daily checks and site inductions while adhering to safety standards. The successful candidate will have experience driving with appropriate licences, a track record

Qualifications

• EU drivers hours and working time regulations knowledge up to date; CPC training mandatory.
• Record of digestate movements and volumes delivered daily.
• Walk around checks at start of duty and recorded electronically.
• Carry out safety walkaround checks on STGP vehicles; address defects.
• Report damage or defects to Transport Manager promptly; do not drive if not roadworthy.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicles clean and well-presented, both interior and exterior.
• Complete site inductions and stay up to date with site-specific plans and regulations.
• Complete timesheets and load logs daily; submit weekly.
• Follow transport routing plans when entering/exiting sites.
• Adhere to night-out regulations and site parking restrictions; use welfare cabins when open.
• Record tachograph entries, corrections, and missed activities as required.
• Be able to produce tachograph data for current and previous 28 days.”
