Job summary

Schenk UK is seeking experienced LGV Class 1 drivers to join our waste operations at the Ripon site, with Monday to Friday night shifts. You will operate tankers in a national network, ensuring safety and compliance with transport legislation.

The role offers a competitive base rate (£16.45 per hour) with a guaranteed 50 hours per week and overtime premiums; full PPE and CPC training are provided, with training and development opportunities across the business.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 licence required (max 6 points).
• Driver CPC and valid tachograph card.
• Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 experience.
• Vacuum tanker experience preferred (training provided).
• Strong knowledge of Driver Transport Legislation.
• Safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate tanker routes at the Ripon site, Monday to Friday nights.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
• Maintain vehicle safety, cleanliness and timely deliveries.
