Job summary

Stericycle is seeking a motivated LGV Class 1 driver in Ipswich to manage daily routes and ensure compliant, timely transportation of waste materials. You will support service managers, maintain driver hours records, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent required.
• LGV Class 1 Licence with C+E entitlement and Full Driver CPC.
• ADR training preferred.
• Driving experience required or preferred.
• Strong safety orientation and compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily schedules to agreed routes and timings.
• Complete documentation for drivers hours and WTD.
• Comply with Road Traffic Act and tachograph regulations.
• Adhere to ADR/Hazmat legislation.
• Act as customer contact at delivery points with courtesy.
• Attend trainings and team meetings as required.
• Complete vehicle checks prior to use and report defects.
