Job summary

Major Managed Services Driving is hiring for an HGV Class 1 Driver in Preston. This temporary role offers trunking duties, planned routes, and shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends with competitive hourly pay.

You will operate between national sites, perform vehicle checks, and uphold high safety standards while maintaining a professional demeanor on all deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence.
• Licence held for at least 1 year.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Up to 6 points on licence.
• Professional and safety-focused approach to driving.

We're currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a busy trunking operation.

The Role

What We're Looking For

To be considered, you will need:

• A valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence
• Licence held for at least 1 year
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last 2 years
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Ability to successfully complete required vetting and DBS checks
• A professional and safety-focused approach to driving
