Job summary

Major Managed Services Driving is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a busy trunking operation in the United Kingdom. This temporary role offers competitive rates, morning, evening and weekend shifts, and PAYE employment with weekly pay.

You will conduct depot-to-depot trunking, follow planned routes, perform vehicle checks and uphold high safety standards while maintaining a professional demeanour with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence is essential.
• Licence held for at least 1 year.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• DBS checks and vetting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Depot-to-depot trunking operations.
• Plan and follow planned routes with time targets.
• Carry out vehicle checks and maintain safety standards.
• Work across morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Deliver loads between national sites and maintain professionalism.

We're currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a busy trunking operation.

This is a great opportunity for professional drivers looking for competitive pay and a choice of shifts, with morning, evening and weekend work available.

The Role

• Depot-to-depot trunking
• Planned and organised routes
• No handballing
• Morning, evening and weekend shifts available
• Transporting loads between national sites
• Completing vehicle checks and maintaining high safety standards
• Following scheduled routes and delivery times
• Maintaining a professional standard at all times

What We're Looking For

• A valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence
• Licence held for at least 1 year
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last 2 years
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Ability to successfully complete required vetting and DBS checks
• A professional and safety-focused approach to driving
