The Role

We have opportunities for C+E drivers to join our heavy haulage, automotive, and bulk haulage teams.

We operate a fleet of 100 vehicles. We specialise in the movement of abnormal loads, trucks, vans & 4x4’s, and bulk loads across the UK and Europe, providing transport for various blue-chip companies and the MOD. Full in-house training is provided.

Key aspects of the role include:

1. Demonstrate a respectful, positive attitude towards others and behave in an honest and open manner.
2. Work effectively as part of a team and under their own initiative.
3. Work safely, comply with health and safety legislation, and insist others do the same.
4. Be practical and have basic mechanical understanding.
5. Be able to plan routes.
6. Be able to work away from home, including 4 to 5 nights out a week.
7. Be able to work weekends when required.
8. Experience using Microsoft and Outlook.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise, cope under pressure, and work to strict deadlines.

Qualifications required:

1. Hold a valid C+E driving Licence.
2. Hold a current Driver CPC card.
3. Hold a digital tachograph card.
4. Knowledge of driver hours regulations.
5. Experience in moving plant, machinery, or bulk would be an advantage but is not necessary as full training will be provided.

Additional requirements:

1. HGV C+E licence held for over 2 years.
2. No more than 6 licence points.
