Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is recruiting Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers for Bridgwater Depot (TA6 6DF). This full-time permanent role offers a modern fleet, early AM and PM shifts, and no overnight stays.

Starting times are 3am or 1pm, with 5 over 7 or 4 over 7 shift patterns. Rates of pay range from £17.30 to £28.42 per hour, with overtime at £19.46. Dependable drivers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E).
• CPC and digital driving card current.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence (CDs, DDs, DRs or INs).
• Comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Delivering milk products to customer stores and regional distribution centres.
• Puts safety first and respects all road users.
• Diligent in driver and vehicle checks.
• Forward thinking with route checks for safety restrictions and traffic.
• Professional interface between the business and customers.

We are recruiting for Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers at our Bridgwater Depot (TA6 6DF) within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.

This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy working for a prestigious logistics company, driving a modern and well maintained fleet of vehicles and who are looking for flexibility in their life, we offer full time work schedules, and no overnights stays.

• Contract : Full Time / Permanent
• Location : Bridgwater Depot (TA6 6DF)
• Shift Pattern: Distribution : 5 over 7 days & 4 over 7 days all inclusive of weekend working
• Start times : AM shift 3am start & PM Shift 1pm start
• Rate of Pay : £17.30 per hour - £28.42 per hour (Overtime rate; £19.46)

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• Delivering milk products to customer stores and regional distribution centres
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.

Class 1 DriverKey Skills & Experience

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
• Self - motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
