Job summary

The Best Connection Gloucester is recruiting an experienced Class 1 Driver (C+E) to join one of our valued clients in the Gloucester area. This role offers long-term, ongoing work with consistent hours and competitive pay.

You'll operate UK-wide haulage with multi-drop and trunking duties, ensure vehicle safety checks, and comply with Drivers' Hours regulations. Immediate starts available for reliable, experienced drivers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Must be 25 years of age or older for insurance purposes.
• Good knowledge of UK driving laws and regulations.
• Reliable and professional attitude.
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (desirable).

Responsibilities

• General haulage work across the UK.
• Multi-drop and trunking deliveries.
• Collections and deliveries to distribution centres, warehouses and commercial sites.
• Vehicle safety checks and defect reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
