Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting LGV C Drivers for Wetherby (LS23). Ongoing, temp to perm roles with 5 positions. Shifts are Monday to Friday, early starts between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM, typically 9–10 hours. Pay rate is £16.54 per hour.

Role involves very heavy handball handling of alcohol, multi-drop with about 10–15 drops daily, and lifting kegs up to 125 kg. A two-day induction with driving assessment and theory test is required before road work.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class C Licence required.
• CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Previous driving experience preferred, new passes considered.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries with 10–15 drops per day.
• Handle heavy kegs up to 125 kg.
• Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, early starts (5–6 AM) with 9–10 hour shifts.

Shift Patterns

• Shifts: Monday to Friday
• Start times and shift length: Between 5AM and 6AM Starts, 9-10 hour shifts.

Job Role

• Very heavy Handball which involves he handling of Alcohol
• Multi-drop, on average between 10-15 drops a day
• Involves handling of kegs which can weigh up to 125kg

Requirements

• Full UK Class C Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous driving experience would be preferred but new passes can be considered.

PLEASE NOTE - 2-day induction before going out on the road which includes a driving assessment and theory test.

Theory test is basic driving questions and tachograph related questions

Driving assessment is a 1-hour drive around the area near our site which includes a mixture of roads.
