Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver for refuse rounds in and around Burton-on-Trent. You will work Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:30, with weekends off, earning £18.00 per hour on an ongoing temporary basis.

Based in Burton on Trent, you will drive a rear-steer vehicle with loaders and may assist them as required. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, a Digital Tachograph card, and a CPC qualification.

Job Description

HGV 2 drivers required for refuse rounds in and around Derbyshire.
We're offering immediate starts for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team covering the Swadlincote and Burton areas.

In this role, you'll drive a rear-steer vehicle through local residential streets, working closely with a team of loaders to collect household waste and recycling. While your main responsibility will be driving, please note that you may occasionally be required to assist loaders as needed.
