Job summary

Biffa is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift in our Trade Waste division. You will operate LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers, reporting to start time at 04:00 for a 45-hour week, Monday to Friday.

Experience in trade waste and bulker driving is required. A valid LGV/HGV Class 2 licence and Driver CPC are essential, along with road-safety knowledge and daily vehicle checks. Overtime is available.

Qualifications

• Trade Waste and Bulker experience is required.
• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Country C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

LGV Driver - AM SHIFT TRADE WASTE

Monday - Friday (45 hours per week)

Start Time: 04:00

£16.87p/h (Overtime available)

Trade Waste and Bulker experience required.

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
