Job summary

Biffa in Wokingham is seeking an LGV Driver Loader to join a crew responsible for waste collection and street cleansing in outdoor environments around the community. The role suits those who enjoy leading small teams and working outdoors with a strong sense of initiative.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with start times at 06:00 and finish at 14:30 (30-minute unpaid break). The position pays £15.86 per hour and offers on-the-job training and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Experience driving LGV waste collection vehicles.
• Ability to lead a small crew.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders.
• Carry out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
