Job summary

Biffa is seeking an LGV Driver Loader to operate waste collection vehicles and manage bin collection duties in a Wokingham area crew. The role involves undertaking street cleansing tasks and maintaining a safe, efficient outdoor operation with the team.

You will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, starting at 06:00. The position offers an hourly rate and opportunities for in-house training and benefits through Biffa Perkz.

Qualifications

• Experience driving LGV waste collection vehicles.
• Able to lead a small crew.
• Comfort working outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles and collect/empty bins, boxes and bags from households.
• Carry out street cleansing tasks such as sweeping and litter picking.
• Support the crew and contribute to a safe, efficient daily operation.

Days of work: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Start/Finish Times: 06.00 to 14.30 (30 mins unpaid break)

Hourly Rate: £15.86

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
