Job summary

Biffa is seeking an LGV 2 Driver to join our Cannock operation. You will drive waste collection vehicles, collect and empty bins and boxes from householders, and carry out street cleansing tasks such as sweeping and litter picking.

This role suits driven individuals who take initiative and can lead teams outdoors while making a tangible difference to local environments. You'll join a committed team with on-the-job training and access to Biffa Perkz.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving license is required.
• Digital tachograph knowledge is preferred.
• Driver CPC would be an advantage.
• Conscientious, reliable and resilient character is important.
• Flexible and works well as part of a team.
• Passionate about providing a great service.
• Physically fit and robust for outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins and boxes from householders.
• Carry out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
• Lead and work with a crew outdoors to make a difference to the local environment and communities.

Job description

LGV 2 Driver -

£16.03p/h

Location: Cannock/South Staffs

Monday to Friday (42.5 per week Cannock)

Monday to Friday (45 hours per week South Staffs)

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, and boxes from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
