Job summary

Biffa is seeking an LGV Driver Loader to operate waste collection vehicles and lead a small crew. This role involves outdoor work, collecting bins, boxes and bags from households and performing street cleansing tasks.

The position offers a day shift from 06:15 to 15:15, Monday to Friday, with a 42.5-hour contract and on-the-job training. Opportunity to contribute to local environmental improvements with a well-established UK waste company.

Qualifications

• LGV licence/cat advantage.
• Ability to lead a small crew outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles to collect and empty bins, boxes and bags from householders.
• Carry out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.

LGV Driver Loader
Rates: £16.78p/h per hour

Shifts Available: Monday to Friday / Day Shift (42.5hrs Contract)

Start and Finish Time: 06:15AM - 15:15PM

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
