Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Programme Manager for a 6-month Local Government Reorganisation contract in the Reigate area. The role involves leading delivery of one or more LGR workstreams, ensuring milestones, governance and readiness for Vesting Day across senior-leader engagements.

You will manage risks, issues and dependencies, coordinate multiple workstreams, and develop robust delivery plans while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and governance bodies.

Qualifications

• Experience in large, complex transformation or organisational change programmes.
• Proven ability to lead multiple workstreams with risks, issues, dependencies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with senior leaders.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, politically sensitive environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for governance papers and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of one or more LGR workstreams, ensuring milestones are achieved.
• Manage workstream activities, tracking scope, schedule, budget and deadlines.
• Coordinate dependencies, stakeholders and activities to support programme objectives.
• Develop and maintain workstream delivery plans with risks, issues and dependencies.
• Prepare decision papers and programme reports for governance and committees.
• Ensure governance, assurance and programme management standards are applied across the workstream.
