Job summary

Protocol is recruiting an Accountancy Tutor in Manchester to deliver Level 7 Accountancy Apprenticeship programmes to professional learners. The role supports ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications, with full teacher training provided and no prior teaching experience required.

You will teach in Manchester with occasional travel to Liverpool (expenses reimbursed), assess learner progress and provide coaching to help candidates succeed in professional examinations.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Completed PER with supporting evidence or certification.
• Strong technical knowledge in accounting, finance and professional programmes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to Liverpool; travel expenses reimbursed.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching across Level 7 Accountancy Apprenticeship programmes.
• Support learners pursuing ACA, ACCA and CIMA qualifications.
• Teach in classroom and online environments.
• Monitor learner progress and engagement.
• Provide coaching and feedback for professional examinations.
• Explain complex accounting concepts clearly.
• Collaborate with programme leaders to maintain learner outcomes.
• Deliver teaching primarily from the Manchester centre with occasional Liverpool travel.
