Job summary
MBDA UK Limited is recruiting for a Software Modelling Degree Apprenticeship (Level 6). The role starts with a funded degree at UCW and includes a £23,000 salary with a £3,000 joining bonus.
The placement is primarily onsite at MBDA Bristol with study leave and travel support, as part of a 4-year programme. You’ll work on dynamic system models using MATLAB/Simulink, Fortran, and C/C++ within an Agile environment, preparing for BPSS clearance and a final BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology
Qualifications
- GCSEs: minimum 5 GCSEs with English Language, Mathematics and a Science or Technology subject.
- Post-GCSE: three A levels (or equivalent) with 120 UCAS Tariff points including Mathematics and a Science or Computing subject.
- Entry criteria may differ by qualification route and UCAS points are considered as stated.
Responsibilities
- Study with UCW for a Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship (Software).
- Work at MBDA Bristol onsite for most of the working week amid a blend of study days and workplace projects.
- Learn to build and use system models and simulation software across the product lifecycle.
