Job summary

Mars invites applications for a 4-year Apprenticeship, leading to a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician qualification. You’ll work with Engineers to improve production systems, use diagnostic tools, and gain leadership skills through hands-on projects and Mars University courses.

You’ll learn to manage projects, document processes, and support data-driven decisions while traveling to Melton Mowbray and Loughborough College. Salary starts at £21,000 with annual increases and a bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ by 6th September 2027.
• Five GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above including English, Maths, Science.
• 3 A Levels including Maths or Physics (C or above) or equivalent Level 3 Engineering qualification.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a 4-year Apprenticeship, where you will be working towards the Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard in Engineering Manufacturing Technician. You will take part in fantastic training courses and team building events, whilst tackling real challenges and taking on real responsibility.

• Working across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing assets

You'll need to be a great team player and communicator, with the motivation to get results and a positive mindset. As a Mars Apprentice you will gain a professional qualification, as well as on the job experience.

Salary £21,000 rising on completion of each academic year + annual bonus + benefits.

• You must not have already studied the L4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician Standard
