Job summary

Igloo Ltd is recruiting an experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician for a busy automotive operation in Corby. The role involves servicing, repairs, and heavy mechanical work on a wide range of vehicles in a modern workshop.

The candidate will perform full PDI inspections, diagnose faults, replace timing chains and clutches, and work efficiently either independently or as part of a team, with a valid UK driving licence (max 6 points). Weekly pay and onsite facilities are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) is essential.
• Proven experience carrying out heavy mechanical repairs.
• Confident replacing timing chains, wet belts, cambelts, and clutches.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under your own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
• Reliable with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out full PDI inspections and vehicle servicing
• Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical repairs

• Working on all makes and models of vehicles
