Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our team starting in September. The ideal candidates will be passionate about education, have a positive attitude, and possess the skills to support both teachers and students effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the classroom teacher.
  2. Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
  3. Assist teachers with the planning of learning activities and the preparation of resources.
  4. Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  5. Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  6. Work with small groups of students and provide one-on-one support as needed.
  7. Help with the supervision of students during breaks and lunchtimes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  5. Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  6. A proactive approach to supporting students with varying needs and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
