Job summary

Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust in Hull is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support learning under the Lead Teacher, delivering agreed work programmes to individuals and groups both in and out of the Base.

You will bring a Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification, specialist intervention skills, classroom management, and strong communication to work effectively with the school team and resources planning.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
• Specialist Expertise in delivering targeted interventions and contributing to resource planning and preparation.
• Classroom Management skills to confidently lead groups, cover sessions, and keep pupils engaged and focused.
• Strong Communication and organizational skills to work effectively alongside the Lead Teacher and school team.

Responsibilities

• Implement agreed work programmes with individuals or groups, both in and out of the Base.
• Manage resources and contribute to planning and preparation.
• Deputise for the Lead Teacher on occasion to maintain good order and keep pupils on task.
• Work under the guidance of the Lead Teacher to support learning across lessons.
