Job summary

Protocol Education are working with a specialist SEND provision in Gateshead seeking a confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with physical and/or medical needs.

This full-time, term-time role offers pay of £120-£140 per day, dependent on experience, with opportunities to develop specialist experience across assistive technology, accessible learning and multi-agency collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting physical and/or medical needs.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence using ICT and learning new technology.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work across different settings.
• Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle – essential due to the nature of the role.

Protocol Education are working with a specialist provision in Gateshead that is looking for a confident TA to support children and young people with physical and/or medical needs.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working as part of a specialist team and finding practical ways to help children access their education.
