Job summary

Shine Learning & Training Centre Beds LTD invites applications for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship. Work Monday to Friday, 8.30am–3.30pm (3pm Fridays), term-time only, 34.5 hours weekly, based at 26 Cauldwell Street, Bedford.

You will work toward a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification across 16 months with LMP Group as training provider. Responsibilities include assisting teachers, supporting students with SEND/SEMH needs, promoting inclusive learning, and providing feedback to

Qualifications

• GCSE English (Grade 4) and Maths (Grade 4) are essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support classroom learning.
• Experience with ICT and classroom activities is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom and student management.
• Support senior staff in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• Carry out work inside and outside the classroom as required.
• Develop knowledge of diverse learning support needs.
• Provide pastoral care to ensure students feel safe and happy.
• Support with planning and delivering tailored student support programs.
