Leighswood School is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in the Early Years (Nursery) provision from January 2027. The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 INSET days, and offered on a permanent basis with a full‑time equivalent pay range.

The successful candidate will have experience with young children, strong safeguarding commitment, and the ability to work alongside families and teachers to support learning and development.

• Has experience of supporting children with additional needs and can use a range of strategies to ensure they are fully included and make strong progress from their individual starting points.
• Works effectively alongside teachers and families to support children's learning and development.
• Remains calm, organised and solution-focused within a busy school environment.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, initiative and flexibility.
• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Shares our commitment to inclusive education and high aspirations for all children.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
