Job summary

Evergreen School in Warwick is seeking a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our team on a Level 3 Apprenticeship. The role involves supporting lessons, assisting with curriculum delivery and helping pupils with their learning and development.

Hours are 31.4 per week, salary £8.00 per hour with a pay rise after 12 months for 19+ year olds. This 18‑month apprenticeship provides online training and a dedicated tutor support for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths at grades 4-9 (A*-C) desirable.
• Experience with SEN or mainstream settings is welcomed.
• You may have gained relevant experience elsewhere and be transitioning into education.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to curriculum planning and evaluation and assist in implementation.
• Assist in the delivery of lessons/sessions and interact with the teacher and pupils.
• Undertake learning activities/teaching programmes and adjust based on pupil responses.
• Support and use ICT in learning activities and develop pupils' independence with ICT.
• Promote inclusion and support pupils' emotional and social development.
• Assist with lesson/activity planning, delivery and evaluation and monitor progress.
