Job summary

Evergreen School in Warwick is offering a Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship. You will support lesson delivery, assist with individualised learning plans and help nurture pupils' development within a supportive team.

Salary starts at £8.00/hour with a planned pay rise after one year, for 19+ year olds. This 18‑month apprenticeship includes online training and a dedicated tutor, based at Deansway, Warwick CV34 5DF.

Qualifications

• SEN experience or within a mainstream setting is desirable.
• GCSEs in English and Maths (4–9) are desirable.
• Willingness to undertake online training with a dedicated tutor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in curriculum planning and delivery under the teacher’s direction.
• Support pupils during lessons and group activities with adaptive tasks.
• Utilise ICT tools to support learning and independence for pupils.
• Support development of communication skills and social interaction.
• Contribute to pupil assessments, records and EHCP aims with the team.
