Job summary

Regency High School is offering a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship to support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality, personalised learning for pupils aged 11–19 with complex needs. The role includes assisting with lessons, SEN support, and implementing programmes under supervision.

The apprenticeship provides online training with a dedicated tutor, with working hours of 33.5 per week and salary of £8 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s learning, development, confidence and independence in the classroom and wider school environment.
• Provide tailored support to individuals and small groups, including pupils with SEN and other needs.
• Assist teachers with lessons, literacy and numeracy activities, assessments and individual learning programmes.
• Encourage pupils through positive reinforcement, patience and encouragement to reach their potential.
