Job Description – Level 3 Teaching Assistant:

We're seeking experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 TAs to support teachers, guide students, and contribute to a nurturing learning environment. You’ll play a key role in delivering the national curriculum while promoting inclusion and well-being.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted support to students in class, small groups, or 1:1 sessions
• Assist with the planning and preparation of educational materials and activities
• Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment
• Track student progress and communicate achievements with teaching staff
• Supervise breaktimes and lunchtimes, promoting positive behaviour and engagement
• Offer emotional and behavioural support when needed

Requirements:

• A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Prior experience working in a UK primary or secondary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to adapt to different classroom environments
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
