Job summary

West Riding Academy in Worsbrough, Barnsley, is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our 11-19 Special School within Nexus Multi Academy Trust. The role involves supporting high-quality teaching, delivering targeted learning interventions and role modelling best practice as a Level 3 TA. You may cover for absent teachers as required.

Hours and salary: NJC 12-17 (Grade F) £29,542 - £32,046 - actual salary £25,205 - £27,342

We are seeking individuals with strong person-centred values and a proven ability to develop relationships with students and colleagues in order to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences. This includes a key role in the delivery of targeted learning interventions and role modelling best practice as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This includes covering for absent teacher colleagues.
