Job summary

Long Term Futures is recruiting a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND at a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Walsall. This role is ideal for an experienced TA who enjoys making a difference, building positive relationships and helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.

It involves 1:1 and small-group support, targeted interventions and close collaboration with teachers and the SENDCO.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEND pupils in a primary school.
• Ability to adapt activities to individual needs.
• Patient and proactive approach to working with children.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support for SEND pupils.
• Support children with needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions for academic, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborate with class teachers and the SENDCO to implement learning plans.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence and engagement in learning.
• Create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.
