Job summary

Albrighton Primary School is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the Reception team. You will support young learners, work with individuals and small groups, and help deliver engaging activities to develop confidence and curiosity.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with primary-aged children, ideally EYFS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated.
• High expectations for children's achievement and behaviour.
• Works well in a team and uses initiative independently.
• Committed to wellbeing and development of all children.
• Good understanding of EYFS curriculum and development.

Responsibilities

• Support children within the classroom environment.
• Work with individuals and small groups delivering targeted interventions.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
• Contribute to planning and preparation of engaging activities.
• Monitor and record pupil progress.
• Provide cover for PPA time and short-term class cover.
• Promote positive behaviour and a safe learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
