Job summary

Westfield School is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join its support team. This part-time, term-time only role offers 30 hours per week in a village mainstream school, supporting learning in targeted groups and with individuals, and contributing to observations and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' learning and development in targeted groups and with individual pupils.
• Take part in adult-led and child-initiated activities.
• Contribute to observations and assessments.
• Encourage pupils to reach their potential, building confidence, independence and a positive attitude to learning.
• Use a range of strategies to motivate and engage learners.
• Build positive, effective relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
