Academics in Leeds is seeking an Early Years Practitioner/Level 3 TA for a long-term role at a private day nursery based in Harrogate. You will support the emotional, social and educational development of children in the early years setting.

Key responsibilities include delivering EYFS-aligned activities, observing progress, and building strong relationships with children, parents and staff. A Level 3 qualification and a DBS update are required or willing to apply for one.

• Relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as an Early Years Practitioner in a school or nursery setting.
• A current DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Academics in Leeds are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner or a Level 3 TA for a long-term role. This is for one of our private day nurseries based in Harrogate. For the right person this position will be until the end of the academic year 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and motivated Early Years Practitioner/Level 3 TA to become part of a supportive team that values creativity, inclusivity, and child-centred learning. You will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, social and educational development of children in the early years setting.
