Job summary

Supply Desk is partnering with a welcoming Slough school to recruit a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start. The role focuses on supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and SEMH within a primary setting.

We are seeking candidates with a Level 3 TA qualification and solid SEN experience. DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one is required. Full-time hours in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children with SEN.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN.
• Deliver tailored interventions and learning activities under teacher guidance.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Assist in planning and adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
• Implement IEPs and behaviour strategies.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Support personal care needs where required.
• Encourage independence, confidence and resilience.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
