Job description

Job title: Level 3 Qualified Nursery Assistant

Location: Bristol

Start: ASAP

Pay rate: £100+ per day

Hours: 8:30 to 3:30 - Monday to Friday

We are seeking an Early Years Level 3 Qualified Nursery Assistant to join a lovely primary school in Bristol, to work in their nursery full time ASAP. The qualification is essential for ratios in the nursery, and for the right candidate it could become a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide support to the teacher and children in the nursery including providing personal care.
2. Promote positive behaviour management strategies and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
3. Assist with classroom organization and maintenance of resources.
4. Support students' social and emotional development through effective communication and rapport-building.

Requirements:

1. Early Years Level 3 Qualification (essential).
2. Previous experience working with nursery aged children.
3. A patient and nurturing approach to supporting children's learning and development.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with staff.
6. Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the classroom and students.
7. Basic knowledge of the national curriculum and educational practices.
