Job summary

Nene Valley Day Nursery in Northampton is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3+) to work with our under twos. This permanent role offers 24–40 hours per week with full and part-time options. Salary £27,289.60–£30,929.60 per annum (pro-rata). Working pattern is 07:00–18:30.

You will plan engaging activities, act as a Key Person, observe and record progress, safeguard children, and collaborate closely with families and colleagues to support development.

Qualifications

• DfE approved early years qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working as a Key Person.
• Effective communication, teamwork and safeguarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate high quality learning activities.
• Act as a Key Person, observe, assess and record children's progress.
• Advocate safeguarding and ensure every child feels safe and supported.
• Collaborate with children, parents and colleagues, building strong relationships.
